Chapter Seventeen
Breaking the Yoke!
Some times after a person has received deliverance they have fallen back into captivity through iniquity or just plain sin. If this happens we have experienced that the believer ends up worse than before. Jesus has warned us about this when he said, “Go and sin no more lest a worst thing come upon you.” The following prayers have been effective in restoring a backslider and helps in getting them the needed deliverance from the demons they have attracted through sin or witchcraft. This usually happens through ignorance of the believer, they believed they needed deliverance but thought they had to do nothing to keep it. Not so. Casting demons out is the easy part, keeping them out requires perseverance & WARFARE!
Is Your Yoke Broken?
(Read 2 Corinthians. 6:14 - 7:1)
Heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before you. I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for my protection. I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life to you.
I take a stand against all the workings of Satan in my prayer life that would hinder me. I address myself only to the true and living God and refuse any involvement of Satan in my prayer.
Satan, I command you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to leave my presence with all your demons. I bring the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us. I resist all the endeavors of Satan and his wicked spirits to rob me of the will of God. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind.
I pull down the strongholds of Satan, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
General Confession and Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you are the Son of God. That you are the Messiah come in the flesh to destroy the works of the devil. You died on the cross for my sins and rose again the third day from the dead.
I now confess all my sins and repent. I now ask you to forgive me, cleanse me from all my sin. Thank you for redeeming me, cleansing me, justifying me, and sanctifying me in your precious blood.
Forgiveness Prayer
Lord, I have a confession to make. I have not loved, but have resented certain people and have unforgiveness in my heart. I have resented certain people who have hurt or disappointed me. I call upon you Lord to help me with my decision to forgive, that you show me how you feel when you forgive me.
I will to do your will, and I do now forgive (name both living and dead). I now ask you to forgive them also Lord and to bless them that are living. I do now forgive myself in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And forgive me Father, if ever I have held any resentment or disappointment against you, In Jesus' Name.
Occult Confession and Prayer
Lord, I now confess seeking from Satan the help that should come from God. I now confess as sin (name all occult sins) and also those sins I cannot remember,
Lord Jesus Christ, I now repent and renounce these sins and ask you to forgive me. I rebuke Satan. I count all things of Satan as my enemies. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I now close the door on all occult practices, and I command all such spirits to leave me NOW, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Loosing from Domination Prayers
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I now renounce, break and loose myself from all demonic subjection to my parents, grand-parents, or any other human beings living or dead, who have dominated me in any way.
I also ask, Lord, that you forgive me if I have ever dominated anyone in the wrong way. And I release them, now. I thank you Lord Jesus for making me free.
Psychic Heredity and Bondage Prayer
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I now renounce, break, and loose myself from all psychic powers or bondage's or bonds of physical or mental illness, upon me or my family and bloodline, as the result of my parents or any other ancestors. As far back as ten, even twenty generations. Thank you Lord for making us free.
Prayer for Loosing Curses and Spells
In the Name of Jesus Christ I now rebuke, break, and loose myself and my children from any and all evil curses, charms, vexes, hexes, spells, jinxes, psychic powers, bewitchment, witchcraft, and sorcery, that have been put upon me or my family line from any persons or from any occult or psychic sources.
I cancel all connected and related spirits and command them to leave me NOW. I thank you Lord Jesus for making me free.
Come to Jesus Deliverance Prayer
I come to you Jesus, as my deliverer. You know all my needs: all the things that bind, torment, defile, and harass me. (Take time to name them.)
I now loose myself from every dark spirit, from every evil influence, from every satanic bondage, from every spirit in me that is not the Spirit of God the Father, and I command all such spirits to leave me now in the Name of Jesus Christ. I now confess that my body is a temple for the Holy Ghost, redeemed, cleansed, sanctified, by the Blood of Jesus Christ. Therefore Satan has no place, no power over me, through the Blood of Jesus Christ.
Pride
Father, I come to you in the Name of Jesus Christ, I know these acts are an abomination to you:
A haughty look
A lying tongue
Hands that shed innocent blood
A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations
Feet that are swift to running to mischief,
False witness that speaketh lies
Those who sow discord among his brethren. Are things that are an abomination unto You (Prov. 6:16-19).
Forgive me and cleanse me from these sins.
Unbelief and Doubt
Father, I renounce unbelief and doubt as sin, and ask you to forgive me from these. In Jesus Name. Amen
Soul Ties
Father, I break and renounce all evil soul ties that I have had with (Lodges, Adulterers, Close Friends, Husbands, Wives, Engagements, Cults, and any Binding agreements with friends), I renounce these evil soul ties. I break them and cut myself loose from them and wash them away with the shed Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I release them as well.
Blood of Jesus Prayer
Through the Blood of Jesus I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil. Through the Blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven. The Blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses me continually from all sin. Through the Blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, justified, made holy, set apart to God.
My body is a temple for the Holy Ghost, redeemed, cleansed, sanctified, by the Blood of Jesus. Therefore Satan has no part in me, no power over me, through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. I renounce Satan, and I loose myself from him, and command him to leave me, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Believer’s Command Prayer
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command Satan and all his demons to loose my mind, I ask you, Father, to send angels to break, to cut, to sever all fetters, bands, ties, and bonds, whether they be by word or deed.
I ask the Lord to loose the Spirits of the Lord, the Fear of the Lord, Counsel, Might, Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding into me and my family.
Restoring the Fragmented Soul (Prayer for You or Others)
Father, I come to you in the Name of Jesus Christ, and I ask you to send angels to gather and restore my (or name of person prayed for) SOUL to it's rightful place in me (or person prayed for).
With the full power and authority of Jesus Christ, I ask you to send your angels to unearth and break all earthen vessels, bonds, bands and bindings, that have been put upon my (or name of person prayed for), SOUL, willingly or unawares. I ask you to have them free my SOUL (or person prayed for), from all bondage by whatever means is required and I agree and say Father, that the power of the Lord Jesus Christ is all powerful and sufficient to do this.
Now Father, I ask you to send your angels to gather and restore to it's proper place all the pieces of my SOUL (or name of person prayed for), my fragmented mind, (or name, etc.) my fragmented will, (or name, etc.) and my fragmented emotions (or name , etc.) and bring them into proper and original positions perfectly as you planned them when you formed Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. Complete restoration, Dear Father.
In the authority of Jesus Christ, I break and cast out, and return to the sender, the power of all curses upon my head, (or name of person prayed for), and curses upon my body, (or name, etc.), and upon my soul.
Prayer for Loosing Soulish Sexual Bondage Before and After Marriage
Father, in the name of Jesus, I submit my soul, my desires, and my emotions to your spirit and authority. I confess as sin all my promiscuous premarital, sexual relations. I confess as sin all my spirit, soul, and body ties before marriage.
I thank you, Father, for giving me the keys of your Kingdom — the keys of spiritual authority. What I bind on earth is bound in heaven, and what I loose on earth is loosed in heaven.
In Jesus name, I loose myself from all soulish ties to past sexual partners. I uproot all tentacles of sexual bondage, of emotional longings, of enslaving thoughts that have reinforced my tie to (name them). I bind any evil spirits that have been involved and have enslaved my mind and brought back these thoughts. I renounce their hold on me. I am now free to give myself totally to God and to my mate (omit if not married). I command my soul to stay free.
Father, I thank You for remembering my sins no more. I receive your forgiveness for all these past sins of sex, mind, and body. Thank you for cleansing me from all unrighteousness. I commit myself totally to you, Father, to keep me holy in spirit, soul, and body. I praise you in Jesus’ name.
Prayer to Break Occult Bondage's
I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that Jesus is God the Son — the Messiah who came in the flesh and died on the cross for my sins. He redeemed me through His blood and He is coming back again. He is my Lord and Savior.
Now I repent of all sinful occult participation which has opened the door to oppression in my life. I confess as sin (name all occult sins out loud). These are spirits and must be named.
Satan, you loose me in Jesus’ name. (Pray in tongues.)
Lord, I renounce Satan, and I renounce all of his works, and I command him and his demons to depart from me in the name of Jesus. I loose myself from every dark power and bondage. If anything has escaped my attention, or if I have omitted anything, I put them all under the blood of Jesus.
I now confess that I am free from all participation and all occult involvement in my life.
Praise the Lord for His delivering power!
Freedom from the Curse of Forgetfulness
Father in Jesus Name, I thank you that you made a perfect atonement plan before the worlds were created. In whatever way the Fall affected me, every aspect of it is restored in Jesus Christ. I thank you that in Jesus’ Name, you have given me authority over Satan, who is according to Scripture, the Thief.
I refuse the reprobate mind and reject the corrupt mind. I bring my mind into subjection to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will quicken my memory. You have blessed my memory.
You have told me to remember your Word and have given me the grace to do so. I will not forget thy Word. The Holy Ghost brings it to my remembrance, and I have a sound mind.
I receive the Mind of Christ for He is my wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. He gives me the ability to store and apply knowledge and receive revelation.
“For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, neither hid that shall not be known (Luke 12:2).
I have the mind of Christ, and I receive restoration for all that the cankerworm ate of my memory. I also claim complete restoration for my understanding. God opens my understanding so I can see the riches you have provided. Then I can find some treasures, and your Word can become gold. Open my eyes and I shall behold the wonders of your Word and promises.
Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Holy Ghost. I am free from the curse of forgetfulness.
“Fear them not, therefore, for there is nothing covered that shall not be known” (Matthew 10:26).
Note: Many people need freedom from the curse of hearing and listening to things not pleasing to God. They need to be made free from the curse of hearing and listening to things in disobedience to God’s ways.
Renouncing Idle Words and Foolish Prayers
Father, in the Name of Jesus, the entrance of your Word has brought light to me because your Word has said it. I believe it, and from this hour forth I will not pray my desires but yours. I will rebuke the problem, speak to it, and tell it to be gone.
Father, I repent of all the foolish prayers I have prayed, and of all the things I have set in motion which would work against me by the authority of my words.
I break the power of every foolish word which I have spoken in Jesus' Name. No evil will befall me, neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling. You have given your angels charge over me, they keep me in all my ways, in my path there is life and no death. I am a doer of the Word of God. I am blessed in my deeds.
In Jesus’ Name I stop every force that has been set in motion by my foolish words. I ask your forgiveness, and I receive that forgiveness now, at this very moment.
I will let no corrupt communication proceed from my mouth, in prayer or in speech. I will speak that which is good for edifying, that it will minister grace to the hearer. I will not grieve the Holy Spirit of God.
Now, Father, in Jesus' Name I proclaim that I am delivered from the power of darkness. I am standing in the liberty of the Lord Jesus Christ and walking in victory, for the greater one dwelleth in me, in Jesus' Name it is so, amen.
I renounce all foolish prayers of any other persons, directed at me or my family that were contrary to Your Word or Will for us. Further, I stop every force that has been set in motion by anyone's foolish words directed at me or my family, as well as all related evil spirits or any other consequence of them. In Jesus' Mighty Name.
Deliverance Prayers
Dear heavenly Father: We are members of your family, and we know that we can depend on your protection. Satanic forces are at work against me (or whoever). You are infinitely stronger than the prince of this world. We know that, at the Name of Jesus, every knee must bow.
Now, Satan, we come against you and every force that is oppressing me (or whoever). In the Name of Jesus, I now break your hold, I command you to cease all interference in my life and in that of my family (or whoever). In Jesus’ Name I take authority and declare your hold to be broken. I bind you from any further harassment in my life in the Name of Jesus.
I now ask for ongoing protection for me (or whoever) and ask you to heal every area and cell in my body that the enemy has touched. We reclaim all territory you and your demons have stolen in my life.
Thank you Father. Bring your sense of peace into my life, in the Name of Jesus. Dear Lord, reveal the ground that I or my ancestors gave to the enemy, which gave demons the right to enter.
Satan, I now take the ground back from you, which gave the demons a right to enter. My life belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ.
I now break, in the Name of Jesus, all psychic heredity and any demonic hold upon my family line as a result of the disobedience of any of my ancestors.
Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I take back all ground that I have gave you in sexual dreams, masturbation, adultery, and every area concerning sex. I refuse, resist, and reject any sexual satisfaction outside my marriage relationship. I command every evil spirit responsible for the experiences to depart from me forever in the Name of Jesus Christ my Lord, Amen.
Note: Unforgiveness towards others will prevent and hinder deliverance.
Confession of Jesus’
Power over Satan
Lord Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. You redeemed me by your blood, and I belong to you. I want to live for you.
Forgive me now and cleanse me with your Blood. I thank you for the Blood, which cleanses me now from every sin.
I come to you now as my deliverer. You know my special needs, the thing that binds, torments, defiles me; that evil spirit, that unclean spirit; that curse or iniquity of my ancestors.
I receive the promise of your Word: “Whosoever calleth on the Name of the Lord shall be delivered.” I call upon you now to make me free.
Satan, I renounce you, your works, your co-harts; I loose myself and my family from you. I command you and your demons to leave my bloodline now in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you Lord for dying for my sins and becoming a curse for my curses. Thank you for your glorious resurrection and for making me a new creature in Christ by faith in your precious Blood.
I have a confession to make, Lord, I have sought supernatural experiences apart from you. I have disobeyed your Word, and I want you to help me renounce all these things and cleanse me in body, soul, and spirit. Sanctify me wholly, in Jesus’ Name.
Renouncing of All Occult Involvement
I renounce witchcraft and magic, both black and white, Ouija boards, and all mind reading, fortune telling, tea leaf reading, crystal ball, tarot and all card playing games, all astrology and interest in horoscopes, wishing well. I also renounce the heresy of reincarnation and all other contact with demonic healing groups; all hypnosis under any excuse or authority.
I renounce all curiosity about either future or past, outside thy will. This includes all water-witching, dowsing, levitation, body lifting, table tipping, psychometry, and automatic writing, and all literature I have ever read in any of these areas, even the newspaper or magazines. I further resolve to burn or destroy them.
Prayer to Break Psychic Heredity
I now break, in the Name of Jesus Christ, all psychic heredity and any demonic hold upon my family line as a result of disobedience in any of these areas by me or anyone of my ancestors, as far back as Adam and Eve.
I renounce everything psychic and occult. I renounce every cult that denies the Blood of Christ; any philosophy that denies the deity of Jesus Christ. I call upon you Lord Jesus to make me free.
I have another confession to make. I have held resentment and unforgiveness against family and people. (Name them.) I call on you to help me to forgive them. I do now forgive them, myself, those who are dead, and those forgotten.
Forgive me for all I have done, said, thought, seen, heard, read, etc., that has offended You, Lord, in any way. I renounce every evil spirit that binds me or torments me. I command them to loose their hold and leave me now — spirit, soul and body.
Jesus, make me free, cleanse me, and make me whole, completely: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
I believe that now that you have read or I hope prayed the above prayers that if someone who has already confronted the enemy and has experienced victory of any kind that this would put him back into a position of authority. Once the Lord has forgiven you or I, our authority is also restored because of our righteousness. The scepter of King Jesus is righteousness. In righteousness we have POWER! The unrighteous are powerless!
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. (Proverbs 28:13)
The scripture is clear, if we are to live an abundant and victorious life, the believer must stop sinning and committing iniquity.
Confessing your sin is not enough, you must also forsake the sin that besets you. Amen.
